Big Mistakes in Internet Marketing

Top Ten Website Marketing Tips
Many website owners struggle with managing their website whilst others enjoy 'dabbling' with the SEO side of website marketing, yet don't see the results of their efforts and sometimes suffer the expensive consequences of getting it wrong.

Often DIY website marketers and 'dabblers' tend to pick up old and out of date tips from forums and chat rooms. There are also mavericks that force duff information into the arena in a bid to sidetrack the less experienced and keep them away from the real website marketing strategies.

The website marketing tips here should help to highlight the key aspects of SEO.

Content is key - or some say "content is king"
Search engines generally scan websites content. - Whilst the more content you have on your website, the more search engines have to scan, too much may also repel your visitors.
Why do people visit your web site? Is it for interesting and informative information that relates to your product or service?

The other side to the coin is do they want to read content if all they want is the cheapest product or the very best deal? Relevant content is a key for a successful website.

If we focus on this article as an example, you might agree that it is fairly useful information, it is also keyword rich content for our website and whilst I write it, I am constantly mindful of keywords, after all I am a website marketing expert and it is natural for me.
The trick is to write creatively in order that you fill it with sufficient 'spider food' for the search engines, yet ensure you maintain the interest of your visitor. Don't dabble, don't be half-hearted, don't be cheap ...if you can't do it properly, pay somebody, it will pay you in the long run.
